Castle Hunting

Living in Castilla la Mancha obviously means there must be a few fortifications to go see. There are many: Almonacid, Consuegra, Mora, Manzanares, Bolaños however by far the most interesting has been Calatrava de Nuevo - but mostly for the wet and wild conditions, in fact the weather was bad enough to completely obscure the castle.
It was 13:40 and the place was due to close at 2pm, I found the entrance after some extra km the steep rise was broken marble, wet and very bad visibility but as I was against the clock, I gave some 3d gear; arriving now closing on 13.50, hood up and brisk strides I was through the gate unchallenged, the maze of walls and fog.

'We're closing' came a voice, the only employee ready to do the off.
'I know but it's not quite 2 and it took me ages to find'
'Ok nip down and have a look at the church'
So with that I zip around the courtyard and found a spooky rose window - nobody or animal in sight - I don't believe in ghosts but they would love it here. Once inside dark, no electric just dusty columns and empty walls and cold corners. If you were to spend the night here you would be visited!
