Pan, but no Peter

4am is what time you have to open the doors to the bakery if you want to earn some dough!
Just outside Cartagena, Spain - a small low level shack come bar; local hang-out make the best bread. A simple wood fed oven and some old hands have kept producing bread for over 50 years.

The old girl that runs this place says that the days are numbered as the younger generation don't want to continue like their grandmother.

If you are near the race track in Cartagena you are a stones throw from it, just off the roundabout on route to the city. Don't let the look of the place and the gaggle of old dudes on the front stoop put you off step back in time visit "Periquín" and buy some pan.
